Our kitchen.

When we moved it, it looked a bit different.. As usually, I quickly changed the look with a lick of chalk paint.. :)

The kitchen was painted over 1.5 year ago, and it still looks great:)  It's actually the second kitchen click, which I updated using Annie Sloan chalk paint, and I definitely recommend it for a quick kitchen remake.. :)

Oryginalnie za bardzo 'pomaranczowa' ;) jak dla mnie, wiec w ruch poszedl pedzel i farby kredowe.. :) 

Po poltora roku nadal wyglada fajnie. To juz druga kuchnia klik, ktora przemalowalam farbami Annie Sloan i zdecydowanie polecam.. Mozna szybko i tanio zmienic wygad wnetrza...

Hela's room..

Kilka fotek z pokoju Helenki... 

Mebelki, jedynie z wyjatkiem komodki i polki na zabawki z Ikei, zostaly przemalowane farbami kredowymi ( kolory Old White & French Linen).  Nad komodka portret Helci wykonany przez utalentowana matke chrzestna a obraz nad lozeczkiem to dzielo zdolnego tatusia.. :)

Most of the furniture has been revamped using chalk paint by Annie Sloan. The colours I have used are Old White and French Linen. The portrait of Helena, that hangs above the chest of drawers, have been painted by her talented God Mother, whereas the oil painting above the cot has been made by her talented daddy.. :) 

The mdf door has been painted in chalk paint too - Country Grey by Annie Sloan, and a mix of French Linen and Pure White..

Sideboard

I was lucky to find this lovely piece of furniture at an Ebay auction. I have now painted it in Paris Grey by Annie Sloan. I distressed it a bit and finished it off with a little bit of dark wax. It's available for sale although I am quite tempted to keep it... Hmmm :)


Moj nowy nabytek:) Pomalowany i wykonczony produktami z serii Annie Sloan. Wystawilam go na sprzedaz ale caly czas mysle czy aby jednak go nie zatrzymac.. :)

Nasze piekne 'nowe' stare schody:) Nie sa idealne, bo z dziurami po kornikiach, i z resztkami starych farb, ktorych nie bylismy w stanie sie pozbyc, ale za to oryginalne ( pewnie juz 80-letnie.. ) i z dusza...   :)

Nie bylo mowy, zeby przykryc je wykladzina.. Pracy bylo sporo, ale zdecydowanie warto bylo:)

Pomalowalam je farbami Annie Sloan. Kolory: Graphite, Coco i mieszanka Coco z Old White oraz Old Ochra. Calosc pokryta bezbarwnym lakierem do podlog Annie Sloan, ktory pieknie wyciagnal kolor.

Our beautiful 'new' old stairs:) I couldn't bear to have them re-covered with a carpet and just knew that using chalk paint would do the trick:)

I have used Graphite, Coco and  a mixture of Coco, Old White and Old Ochra. The Annie Sloan lacquer enhanced the colours beautifully. I couldn't be happier with the result;)

Zdjec niewiele, na nie wiadomo jakie aranzacje tez czasu braklo..  Prawda taka, ze blogowy swiat musial pojsc w odstawke, a to w zwiazku z tym, ze w naszym domu zagoscily dwie malenkie stopki.. :) I teraz wszystko kreci sie wokol nich.. :)

Desk makeover

Biurko z plyty MDF pomalowane sto lat temu.. ale nie bylo czasu/checi na zrobienie kilku fotek.. 

Uzyte farby to oczywiscie Annie Sloan (Paris Grey) oraz Autentico Vintage (Canvas).

Jedna z szuflad ozdobiona jest grafika znaleziona na stronie theGraphicsFairy.com

The desk was painted in AS chalk paint in Paris Grey and Country Gray and sealed with clear wax. One of the drawers was decorated with a a graphic found on theGraphicsFairy.com

A room divider screen or a wall decoration.. ?

Pamietacie moj mini parawan, zrobiony ze starych drzwi, ktory pokazywlam tutaj (klik)... ? 

Jego druga czesc caly czas cierpliwa czekala na 'metamorfoze' az do ostatniego weekendu, kiedy to w koncu zabralam sie do dziela..  Bylo kilka opcji - szablony, decoupage; w koncu stanelo na transferze zrobionym przy pomocy plynu Citra Solv. Kolory moje ulubione Country Grey, Old Ochra i Paris Grey (farby kredowe Annie Sloan)

Parawan mial stanac w nieco juz ciasnej 'garderobie' ale dzieki genialnemu pomyslowi meza wyladowal na sciane w przedpokoju, zaraz przed wejscie do sypialni, gdzie moim zdaniem wyglada fantastycznie;) 

Caly czas jest 'dwustronny' wiec w kazdej chwili mozna dekoracje zmienic w zaleznosci od nastroju..:) A gdy sie znudzi, to sie znow przemaluje.. :) 

My mini room divider screen made of old wardrobe doors, (shown here) has become a wall decoration.. :) It was actually my husband's idea, and I absolutely love it;) 

I painted both panels in chalk paint by Annie Sloan ( Paris & Country Grey with a little bit of Old Ochra + Clear & Dark Wax) and decorated them with graphics of mannequins.

I love it how it looks in our hallway;) but if I ever get bored all I will need to do will be hanging the doors inside out;) as the other sides are still decorated with the damask stencils..
